East Rockingham High School Students

The Harrisonburg-Massanutten Rotary Club Scholarship is limited to current MTC attending students only. Several students will each be awarded $25o.oo or more to be used for tools of the trade or for further education. Recipients and their parents/ guardians will be invited to a luncheon in May. The Massanutten Technical Center Foundation Student Excellence Award recognizes five high school seniors who are motivated and committed to their future endeavors within the workplace and in the community. Applications are available by clicking on the graphic on the left. The completed application is due to the MTC main office by Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

The Harrisonburg Rotary Club Scholarship offers scholarships to graduating seniors who epitomize the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” and the Four-Way Test for life’s decisions. The scholarship levels may vary based on the quality of the candidate with $1,000 being the minimum award. Criteria include: Community service, essays, recommendations, financial need, and a minimum GPA of 2.0. Applications are available by clicking on the graphic to the left.
The completed application is due to the MTC Counseling Office by March 20, 2024

The Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc. is proud to support the Rockingham County Public Schools. REFI is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and facilitating programs to enhance education for our students. REFI is proud to offer these scholarships that were established to honor or remember special people.
Scholarships are to be complete ONLINE and submitted by March 8, 2024

academic achievement at some level
extracurricular participation
citizenship/volunteerism
scholarship selection committee interview
one essay not to exceed 500 words entitled, “Why I Should be Considered for this Scholarship”
at least two school officials’ letters of recommendation addressing the criteria

Home Depot Foundation's Path to Pro Scholarship is offering $2,000 for students who are interested in attending a trade-related program (technical/vocational school or college). This scholarship is focused on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction Management. Application deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31.

The Charles J. Colgan Scholarship, in the amount of $2,000, is awarded to a Virginia resident High School, Technical School Senior, or College/University Undergraduate who is pursuing an avaiation related career at an accredited institution. AmericanTrucks Student Scholarships is offering $2,000 scholarships for students interested in furthering their education in the traditional building trades such as HVAC, Carpentry, Electrical. or related fields of study.
